Stop The Theft of Lake Texoma State Park!
The Oklahoma Tourism & Recreation Department (OTRD) is busy selling off Lake Texoma State Park land to illegally convert it for a private development.
The Commissioners of the Land Office (CLO) original vision for The Park included a private development North of Hwy 70, and a restored or new family lodge, and revitalized public golf course, public campgrounds and boat ramps on the south side of Hwy 70. They also planned on leasing the land, not selling it.
Now, OTRD is selling off the entire park! Plus, they’re busy privatizing another 1,000 acres of Corp of Engineers land located south of Rooster Creek.
There will be no Lake Texoma State Park at all, if they are not stopped soon.
ACT NOW! Take a few minutes to contact the Corp of Engineers:
1) Ask them for an Environmental Impact Study (EIS) of the ongoing conversion of Lake Texoma State Park for a private development.
Write: Colonel Anthony Funkhouser

Pointe Vista Development says “It’s a done deal,” but it’s not!
